He/she has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), with his/her default personality being the submissive male personality, Kyle. The other personality is a dominant female personality named Kyla, and she becomes the villain Mercy

For the record I have no idea if people with DID can have different personalities fall in love with each other but I’ve looked it up and I’ve seen that a lot of people rule this disorder as an “anything goes” type deal, so I decided to roll with it

BTW Both the colors of her/his suit and the symbol below her hood stand for “Mercy.” She/he is named “Mercy” because he/she was given a lack of it when he/she was hurt and now she/he offers the same to her enemies.
She/he makes her/his victims beg for mercy before they’re dealt with.

Abilities: Mercy is not gifted with any powers, but more than makes up for it with his/her intelligence and physical abilities. Because of his/her childhood abuse Mercy also has heightened stamina and reflexes, and is quite good with stealth. He/she also compensates for usual superhero traits by superb observation, improvisation, and sheer iron willpower. Her modus operandi consists of homemade flash bombs and small guns, and if there is a desperate need for a quick getaway his/her boots are equipped with wheels.

She/he is usually more adept with attacks and equipment suited for stealth and manipulation than pure strength and bulk.

Personality: Kyle/Kyla has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), with his/her default personality being the submissive male personality, Kyle. The other personality is a dominant female personality named Kyla, and she becomes the villain Mercy.

Kyla was unconsciously created by Kyle when he began to suffer from his abusive parents. Whenever Kyle was suffering a beating Kyla would take over and take it for him, which also made Kyla the only one who remembered the abuse when Kyle’s parents finally got caught and Kyle was taken away from them. Though Kyle is not aware of Kyla’s existence, Kyla is aware of Kyle.

Kyle: Kyle is a happy and gentle boy. He tries to have an optimistic outlook on life in general, and is sort’ve a people-pleaser by nature, and because of his submissive personality he is often the subject of much abuse from Carver Wilson and his gang. Because he has no memory of what Kyla experiences he is often peppered with scars and mementos of his abuse and from later in life that he has no idea where they came from. And because of the abuse from his parents however he has a tendency to not trust new people and to cower from physical contact, though he himself has no idea why he does.

Kyla/Mercy: Kyla, unlike Kyle, is a dark and brooding personality, almost unstable in a way. From the moment of her creation she has been (romantically) in love with Kyle and she takes his abuse for him because of this, regarding herself as the only person who can truly take care of him and love him. This remains a driving factor in her actions later in life when she realizes Kyle is being bullied at school and outside of school as well (because while Kyle is unaware of her presence and does not have her memories she is aware of his), and thus she takes on the persona of Mercy to try and offer him comfort by eliminating his tormentors (seeing as she cannot offer him comfort through physical contact or anything like that).

Special Note: Sometimes Kyle hangs out with R.J.’s group but he’s sort’ve of an associative friend instead of a permanent friend.
