I'm Back-ish!
Hey everyone!
Not sure who else is here and who just hasn't logged in for forever, but I'm thinking of becoming active on deviantArt again! It's been a weird journey for me art-wise since I graduated college, and I've gone from uploading everything I draw to keeping sketchbooks and sketchbook of art to myself so I could feel like I was making art for my own enjoyment again. I want to start sharing my art again though, so I was thinking of using this account again and uploading when I felt like it. We'll see how that pans out, but for now, it's nice to be back!
A lot has changed since I last came here. I graduated art college, learned I was a lesbian, found a long-distance partner, got super into DnD, and decided I wanted to be a librarian! I'm currently going to college for a Master's degree in Library Science and it's made me incredibly happy, it's where I feel I actually belong.
I've redesigned a fair number of my characters too, primarily R.J. and Wesley, so I hope you all like them! For the past two years I've been obsessed with drawing an OC of mine named Amaryllis that I hope you all like too! She's as important to me as R.J. is and hopefully I'll clean up and finish all the art I have of her to upload at some point.
Anyway, I hope you guys are all staying safe and healthy. I think at some point I'll spiffy this account up and start to post again, but I'm gonna do it just for fun and at my own pace. I hope you all like what I've been working on!

Okay SO
I realized this morning that I’ve been neglecting a lot of responsibilities this year.
Not out of actual spite or anything, but because my mental health has been deteriorating since January and I've spent a big chunk of my time recuperating as recently it became too much to handle. I've talked about it on tumblr mostly but I know I owe people on here things too so I want you to know that's why.
HOWEVER, I’ve gotten so far behind on birthday gifts and commissions and requests that it’s gotten honestly ridiculous.
But hey, I’m in a better state of mind now and I’m taking care of myself (so far anyway), so I’m going to catch up, both on here and on tumblr.
I have about 60 or so requests in my tumblr inbox, I think I owe 1 or 2 birthday gifts, and I have 7 commissions to complete. Everything I was going to do for myself is going to be put on hold until this is all done (or at the very least, it’s not gonna be my first priority).
That and also revamping my portfolio and putting a demo reel together.
So later today I’m going to post a list of what I need to still do. No fun stuff this time, just strictly people I owe things to. I'll post it to tumblr first, and then copy and paste it to here.
I will also upload any recent artwork I've done too.
So I thank those of you that have been waiting patiently for me to finish your things, I will now be making myself do them.
